Terry founded the company in October 2011. His background includes 10 years as a self-employed dairy farmer, hog farm manager, international dairy consultant, public accountant, and 7 years as a controller-turned-property-manager for a real estate brokerage company. Terry holds the CPA designation and is the Principal Broker of APMS Realty LLC.
Kathy McAlister

Kathy came to APMS with 35 years of retail and restaurant management and leadership. Kathy has worked extensively in Northern Virginia managing 13 locations. In her spare time, she enjoys boating and working with rescue horses.
Kristina Sherrill
Community Association Manager & Real Estate Agent

Kristina started at APMS as our Office Administrator, and transitioned into a Community Manager in March of 2020. She is a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a Virginia Licensed Real Estate Agent. Kristina’s interest in photography and marketing has led her to help APMS with social media making and real estate sales. Outside of APMS Kristina currently works as a swim instructor/coach. She also loves spending time with her family and dogs.

Liz enjoys working with all of her communities. Her background includes expertise in purchasing, collections, negotiation, education, problem solving and conflict management. Over the past 37 years she has embraced opportunities working in the financial industry, the business industry, educational industry, and the ministerial industry. In her spare time Liz loves to volunteer.

Summer’s prior experience as a Call Center Supervisor and Title Processor have made her a valuable addition to our team. She started out at APMS as our Office Manager and then transitioned into her current role as a Community Association Manager. Summer is a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Virginia and studying to become a licensed Virginia Real Estate Agent. Summer loves spending time with her family in her free time.
Kristen LaPrade

Kristen graduated from JMU in 2020 with a BBA in marketing and a concentration in sales. She obtained her Virginia Real Estate License in March of 2024, and she enjoys helping keep the office organized and functional in its day-to-day operations. She is excited to be assisting with the social media marketing and real estate sales at APMS! Outside of work, she likes playing volleyball, exploring photography, and spending time with family.
Keeana Neilson

Keeana graduated in 2020 with a B.S. in Interior Design. She has a background in retail, design, and student housing. She assists in the office with day to day operations and she enjoys working with people. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, and traveling to new locations.
Kiya Scott

Kiya came to APMS with over 10 years experience in human resources, administrative expertise and recruiting. She enjoys problem solving, helping others when needed and providing wonderful customer service. Outside of APMS, she also sells life insurance. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, enjoy outdoor activities such as riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, and watching football!
